Message from President

In the situation that the environment and the set of value in the world is greatly changing day by day, the time has arrived for us to question the role of company once again.

Since established in 1886 in Tokoname- city which is famous for ceramic wares, we have inherited the production and distribution of ceramic ware products. The DNA which has been cultivated for the long time, is continuously being taken over by young employees now.

Our main products are ceramic products such as Tiles, Terracotta Louver, Hybrid Block. We also produce and sell ceramis sleeves for casting. Among those products, there are a variety of products which needs a variety of know-how to make, such as more than one meter long products, molded products and other products which are made by using traditional pottery method. Those crafts make our customers feel satisfied and they are also our added value.

Not only in Japan, we have provided our products to more than 10 countries until now. There is no border in the market anymore, it is our pleasure to interact and communicate with people who have different languages and set of values. There is still untapped market for us. So we will send information positively to encounter potential customers who might need us. We also take every daily work carefully. Through our business, we hope to share the delight coming from our products with people more than before.

Established as a stock company(With the aim of selling ceramic products and marine transportation business. Capital:15,000 yen)

1898

Built the factory at Kitajou in Tokoname-city(16,500�u)

Built the first and second kiln(Climbing Kiln) and began production activity

1899

Produced telephone porous pipes and supplied them to Kyoto Telephone Office.

1918

Began to produce tiles for buildings

1930

Began to produce sanitary wares

1950

Obtained JIS(��113)
Began to produce ceramic pipes for electric cable

1961

Began to produce ceramic sleeves for casting

1991

Built the integrated tile production factory in Otani Industrial Park and moved there

1994

Obtained JIS for tiles(��494005)

2003

Began to produce TERRACOTTA LOUVER

2005

Supplied annicersary plates for the opening of Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya

Exhibited PAVEMENT PLATE as wall-greening plates at BIOLUNG Corner of the 2005 Aichi Expo

2008

Identified as a factory which can displays JIS mark (btained new JIS)

2011

常Received Prime Minister's Award at Tokoname Promotion Exhibtion (product name : FINO）

2013

Began to promote energy saving in the company

Began to operate a solar power system.
